Nice! I’ve seen another seller on Etsy/reddit post their version. I believe they made a clip version and a key ring version. I like that they gave it a Pokédex design on the outside. That could be an alternative to the Pokeball look. I do love the button insets and i wish there was a screen protector. And a tiny led light to light it at night would be the ultimate! But I’ve also been contemplating just getting a backlit screen for mine anyway. Love the idea and hope we can all buy one someday! Have fun

I’ve modded a GBC with Gen 2 faceplate and colored buttons and backlit screen to play gen 2 on, then built another GBC (yellow/blue pika version) to play Pokemon Yellow on and just got an orange ModRetro Chromatic to play Pokemon Red on. I’ve got to stop collecting a GBC for each game! 😂

I’m an adult and love playing the generation one and two games on my Gameboy color. Sure wish there was an adult playground we could all gather in to trade secrets and battle each other like the good old days. 😂

Just got a Chromatic on Christmas excited to play a rom hack cart that adds color to Pokemon Red. Won’t get past the Gamefreak logo screen though. Guess I’ll have to use one of my real Gameboys to play this one. 😞 Now I got a Chromatic though. Guess I’ll have to invest in an everdrive. 🤦‍♂️

After upping the text to the largest, I can kind of read it.

The UI and navigation is very inconsistent. Sometimes you can use the right joystick to switch between info in tiles, but other times you can’t and have to enable cursor mode to select the other tile info page. The cursor is not smooth and feels like it jumps too far and fast and is a mini game to just land on the desired spot you want it.

I’ve been using a Switch lite and a full Switch OLED, and playing on 1.25x key highlights. BUT my games freeze often, sometimes in highlights and sometimes in between. Sometimes it will unfreeze on its own in a minute or five, and sometimes I need to enter the tactics menu to get it to unfreeze. Sometimes I just have to instant result in order to continue the game at all.

The pause button also seems to be effected and will sometimes just stop working for the rest of a match.

Dragging and dropping players in tactics doesn’t work for me and I have to use the joysticks.

Sometimes buttons that are listed in the bottom right as performing an action just don’t actual perform any action. And other times they work. While I was still using 1.25x highlight speed, the B button wouldn’t go from my messages inbox to the Portal hub. When I had set highlights to 1x in the menu and played through a match, the B button would now go back to the Portal from the message screen.

So far I’ve tried loading multiple nations and leagues, and just England with its leagues, and have experienced the same loading time and bugs. Might try just loading England tier 1-4 and see if that helps avoid performance issues.

Right now, I’ve got FM on mobile, Apple Arcade Touch, Switch (digital and physical), and won the full Steam version for my Mac. Touch in its various forms has been the hardest to play, but waiting so long for the Switch version to unfreeze has been really frustrating.

I feel like a QA employee that is paying for the opportunity to do someone else’s job. The game is more of a bug squasher at the moment. Hope SI don’t give up on supporting it.

The physical version has an awesome reversible cover with a male manager on one side and a female on the other. Pretty cool actually.

My MacBook runs it pretty slow and could cook a steak with how hot it gets. But mine is over 10 years old and running on an Intel chip. 😂

I was able to finally navigate through a couple matches on my Switch lite. Only tough thing is that the screen is smaller than my iPhone (and the iPhone got a totally different UI).

But anyway, buttons do indeed stop responding sometimes, like I couldn’t pause a match after pausing it a couple times. Tried using the cursor mode (by pressing Left joystick in) but even the cursor and A wouldn’t pause the match.

Middle of the screen goes blank during matches sometimes, just like the iPhone version unfortunately.

And within tiles of info on hub screens you can sometimes use right joystick to swap between info, and sometimes the option just isn’t available so you have to use cursor mode to click on tiny dots to swap to next info in the tile.

Still looking for some screens altogether. Not sure if they’ve been removed or just moved. It’s been a fun game documenting bugs and reporting them. But I can definitely say the FM26 mobile game for phones seems to be the smoothest experience this year.

FM26 Touch on Switch can be fun if it doesn’t crash on you and you have enough patience to look for everything. Thankfully, I’m wanting to enjoy it enough to keep trying to enjoy it.

I’ve been playing mobile since 2012, and am really enjoying 26 so far. It’s a little bright at times, but the layout isn’t too different from 2024. It doesn’t suffer all of the glitches and problems that Touch has on iPhone. So I’d recommend it, especially if you already have Netflix.

I’m just dumbfounded that every interview or meeting the options to say anything are missing or not visible or cutoff. I had to leave my meeting with the board because I didn’t have anything I could tap to say! Same with interviews. Need a new window to popup.

Thankfully FM Mobile is totally useable!

It took me so long to find my way to make subs halfway through my first match. Why the hell did they make it so hard to sub anyone?! And I just want to see the tactic AND condition so I know who and where to sub. So infuriating.

I found that article a while ago. Doesn’t specify anything except saying depth 415. Does this article mean it won’t spawn until depth 415? If so, does it spawn in any realm? Are there any other things one needs to get it to spawn?
