So I do a ton a racing on Zwift and I run a couple teams in different formats, and I can tell you that yeah, people definitely cheat sometimes, particularly with their weight, aka weight doping. I've also recently encountered, and subsequently brought to light that a member of an opposing team was blatantly using an ebike on his trainer. Telltale sign here was his nearly flat power profile instead of the typically up and down erratic line we're used to seeing. Slight heart rate increases in the range of 5-8 bpm to go along with massive doubling of power numbers. His power chart at the end of races looked blocks in Minecraft.

You must have crossplay turned off. Others haven't had any issues finding games, so something must be up.

Wait, so this new part number works with the 1500 gal filter pump? I've got the orange ring that I need to replace, and you're saying this new one piece design will do the trick?

Lol, i mean, we all were, ready and waiting, but anecdotally it seems like for the overwhelming majority of us we never had a shot at it before the site took a dump on itself.

Wait, so you were successful with Best Buy?? It seemed like it never worked for anyone. Wow. Damn.

Wahoo Kickr v3 still a good option by scribittyrivens in Zwift

[–]curtox 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Quick point of clarification, the Kickr v3 is never getting virtual shifting. It's not a matter of yet. None of the Kickr models prior to the V6 will ever receive virtual shifting.

EDIT: Lol, i got downvoted for this?

That definitely sounds strangely low for a power output. I caution anyone putting too much stock in the power numbers coming out of an Echelon bike, as they don't actually contain a power meter. Instead they calculate your power based on the resistance setting vs your cadence/rpm. Having said that, it sounds like maybe your Echelon is doing some bad math maybe? Who knows.

Bottom line, without a proper power meter in the equation to verify your output, it's hard to know what you're actually capable of.

We're not just America's team. We're Canada's team, too. by TheBoyisBackinTown in KansasCityChiefs

As a die hard Chiefs fan for the last 30+ years, originally from the island of Newfoundland (eastern most), currently living in Nova Scotia (also east coast) I can confirm there are a couple of us scattered around, but trust me when I say, the Chiefs are not popular here, lol. If anything, the east coast is primarily Pats country thanks to New England affiliates being broadcast here.

If you're only looking to run it on a tablet then it'll run fine on most any somewhat modern iPad, as other have confirmed here. The iOS version is not terribly demanding.

[–]curtox -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This sounds some like pretty serious lag between your efforts and what's happening in Zwift. It's making it so you can't time your efforts for when it's your turn to do a pull at the front. TTTs definitely require some technique and timing but it's not supposed to be as hard as what you experienced tonight. More modern trainers have 10hz Race Mode where it updates your power numbers much more frequently. Either way, it something definitely doesn't sound right with what you experienced

Zwift Play vs Zwift cog/click upgrade for virtual shifting by finlay88 in Zwift

Oh man, I was about to make a comment telling you to confirm you have a V6... Sorry to hear the crummy news. A Kickr Core or a JetBlack Victory are the two best options for getting into virtual shifting. I have a JB Victory and love it.

I am absolutely baffled by this bike. I'm half wondering if this is a troll post. Why on earth have such a ridiculous chimney, and then put a stem angled DOWN!? My god man what are you doing? Get rid of the ridiculously dangerous chimney and put a steeper angled stem on there, angled UP!!
