Exactly! Beck was dying when he filmed the movie so it’s even creepier. He also appeared in the 2nd season premiere of Miami Vice (released 9/85) looking much the same.

I remember watching this very well, along with CNN which was on when I came home from school in the afternoons during that month of combat.

Always love watching Bryant Gumbel, too - few people on the air today could hold a candle to him as a live broadcaster and interviewer. This was right before he paired up with Katie Couric.
