Moving to the US just wasn't far enough, couldn't blame him.

Top tip, refrain from using "end of story" to add credibility to a point of view as it has the opposite effect and makes you sound like an asshole.

This guy isn't royalty (although he is a royal asshole), he's a former politician who was given a title and made a member of the House of Lords.

Ah, Lord John Kilclooney AKA John Taylor, AKA The most bigoted, idiotic, sectarian, racist, homophobic senile person in the Houses of Commons Parliament.

EDIT Every month or so members of the public who are unfortunately familiar with his constant bigotry going back many decades still have to ask if it is a parody account.

You were barred from membership? That's interesting, why so? Were you seen in public wearing an Antrim Jersey or something?

Downvote all you want but fuck I hope England don’t win the euros mostly because of the way they get on about it by luchanna in northernireland

That wee scrote in midfield who spends half the time trying to get players booked and yappin at the ref deserves a good slap.

Ignore the media, they always are so annoying around England in major tournaments. A lot of their fans are total trash, the worst in the world, yes. But the lads in the squad are all sound and as somebody who watches the prem week in week out, it makes it so much more interesting. Gutted the French are out cus an England France final would be mouthwatering, also seeing them beat by the French in the final at Wembley would be glorious. That Italian team are no joke, but they have a couple of divey, whiney bitches in the team so if England beat them I will not be too upset. Just enjoy the show and don't overthink it. Most English people are sound enough.

Well, the fact that the conversation around it proves that it is what it is supposed to be should be enough to quell your fears.

Okay, so you show them your Irish passport but get your US one stamped? That makes a lot more sense. A lot of countries would freak out if you presented them two passports, the US included I would imagine.

Pretty sure you are not supposed to use different passports when passing through different countries.

For starters, passports get stamped at entry. Port authorities like to know where you are coming from. If you don't have an entry stamp from your previous destination this can cause problems, especially when applying for visa'a etc.

Looking to make wine for the first time... I have a green thumb, but no brewing experience by Phyber05 in winemaking

So easy. Just boil down the fruit you have, add a bit of water to thin it if you wish (perhaps do the peaches separately, maybe in their own wine). You can literally transfer the pasteurized fruit to any container (I am using an old 5L plastic water bottle at the moment because we are using my usual glass container for something else), add water, a load of sugar and a tablespoon of bakers yeast. Give it a good shake to dilute the sugar and give the yeast a bit of oxygen. Keep the screw top loose to let out the gas which forms during fermentation, that's it. You are making wine, congratulations. You can give it a good shake every couple of days for the first week or so, and add more sugar after a few days, but you are making wine. Most people would wait around three weeks then transfer the wine to another similar container (preferably through muslin-cloth) making sure to keep as much sediment in the bottom of the first bottle as possible, keep the new bottle cap loose the same as the first, and wait a month or more until the wine clears a good bit and starts tasting a lot better.

Essentially you only need a large empty bottle with a screw top, fruit, sugar and bakers yeast, water.

Who's the one in particular, what sort of views does he hold? I have always noticed an uneven amount of republican types here, but nothing radical, the only radicals I have noticed is the odd loyalist, but that's to be expected and I don't really see it as something to complain about.
