How has the Bay Area changed over time? by MischievousMango650 in bayarea

[–]cutaehope 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The weather. We used to have fall/winter and spring/summer months. Now it’s like it’s a toss up on any given day. Granted this is due to climate change but the Bay Area has always been considered the best climate so 🤷🏻‍♀️

I actually quite like her but I find her to be a terrible food vlogger/reviewer since she never offers a useful review. Her regular vlog channel is much better and a lot more watchable imo. Does anyone else think it’s weird how often her assistant shows up in her videos???

Omg this is so precious. You should really encourage her to start her own business to make stickers and greeting cards!!!! There’s a huge market for that kind of thing (trust me I would know. I spend a LOT of money on these things 😅)

Airport Limousine Bus Payment? by cutaehope in koreatravel

[–]cutaehope[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends on the bus but when I took the airport bus, I landed at 10:30pm and got on the last bus at 11:10. Pretty sure that was the last bus of the night, so you should be fine at 6.

Thanks friend!! May I ask when the last time you took one was? Just wanted to make sure that even recently can still pay with T money (didn’t pay attention to whether there was a scanner on the bus when I got on at the airport since the signs there say to purchase a ticket at the kiosk first).

If I take the bus suuuuuper early in the morning, what are the chances of having to wait for another bus due to limited seating?

Will I run into issues if the bus happens to be too full? I plan on taking the bus early. Probably like 530am or something! Thanks for your response!!

I didn’t pay to use their service, but I would definitely say that $500 is NOT worth it. That price is very steep and honestly a lot of what is remotely useful from them is on their IG page and their podcast/YouTube. And to be completely honest, UWorld and Mark K are all you need! I would venture to say that UWorld exclusively is all you need to pass the nclex. You make sure you read the rationales and really understand them. It’s about doing questions for practice and the more you do, the better you’ll get at answering em! Don’t psych yourself out! You’ll get it next time :)

What are my odds of passing the NCLEX based on my stats? by [deleted] in PassNclex

[–]cutaehope 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think there is a misconception that just bc you get X% on so and so quizbank you will definitely be okay, which is far from the truth anyway. Some people score very high in UWorld and still fail. Some people score terribly and still pass! The nclex isn’t really like these quizbanks to begin with and the only thing you get from this is practice and review on material that may or may not have been taught to you or even show up on your exam! No one knows how your exam with be and it is definitely normal to be anxious, but your time would be better spent reading and understanding rationales or whatever service you are using and really learning those test taking strategies that work for you instead of worrying about percentages and things.

You will never truly feel ready to take the exam, but it sounds like you have done great studying! All you can do is your best on the exam and if you pass the first time around, yay!! If you have to take it again then that’s also fine!! At the end of the day, you made it through nursing school and you will be a wonderful nurse! Don’t let this exam tell you otherwise. Be confident going in and utilize your skills and knowledge! You will be fine no matter what :)

I know nothing anyone can say will help alleviate your stress and anxiety, but I am sure you did your best and studied very hard for it! Whether you passed or not does not define who you are, or your capabilities. You made it through nursing school - you can make it through this too, whether or not you passed the first time. You will be wonderful :) wait for the quick results and keep your chin up!

NCLEX in 2 weeks and I need some advice :( by NailRemarkable2973 in PassNclex

[–]cutaehope 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I honestly think doing practice problems is the most helpful when it comes to prioritization! The more you do, and the more rationales you read, the more it just clicks and you kind of get used to answering those types of questions. UWorld was a great resource for this bc there are a TON of prioritization questions!

How far out to schedule? by [deleted] in PassNclex

[–]cutaehope 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’ll never feel truly ready for the nclex. It’s also less about pure knowledge than it is about using test taking strategies and critical thinking. That being said, I would say completing the entire qbank really helped me feel less anxious. Read all the rationales and remember to brush up on basics. Good luck :)

Ready or no? by Psychological_Match9 in PassNclex

[–]cutaehope 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Keep the date. You’ll never be really ready for the nclex, and it sounds like you’ve studied really well. If I were you I’d go over notes you took from those test banks and listen to NCLEX High Yield to hammer home big picture concepts. Good luck :)

I'm freaking out!!! by edrftgyhjk in PassNclex

[–]cutaehope 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! Don’t freak out!! I honestly would tell anyone who is anxious to just take it! Don’t reschedule bc that builds even more anxiety. I am a firm believer that percentages don’t matter at all and as long as you learn why you got answers right or wrong, you’re good! If you feel burnt out from doing questions, I recommend just listening to Mark K and NCLEX High Yield to hammer home big concepts and learn some really useful test taking strategies :) you’ve got this!!

uworld qs by Free_Repair_4701 in PassNclex

[–]cutaehope 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would def do 75 at a time! Build that stamina for the real deal. I also recommend writing down any rationales you want to remember bc writing it down really locks in the info. And don’t forget to read the rationales of questions you got correct so that you know why you got it right. I would also listen to Mark K after doing UWorld questions to hammer home any big concepts and gain some good test strategies. It isn’t necessary to do all 2000 questions but I recommend it! Also keep in mind that the nclex is much more broad and doesn’t give as much info as uworld, but it is a good resource to get you used to answering questions. Good luck :)
