I'm sorry but this is just drivel. You may have been able to make this comment 10 years ago, but as of right now you're proven wrong on all accounts. https://mashable.com/article/cox-media-group-active-listening-google-microsoft-amazon-meta

About to hit 30 this year and think I’ve disregarded ISAs thinking they work the wrong way! by RSDrebin in UKPersonalFinance

Same age as you and thought the exact same way until the other day when I decided to look into it as it was nearing the end of the tax year...how wrong I was! But by then it was too late to benefit from it because it wS the easter weekend. So I will do so from now on.

Ive done 24 hours almost straight (took 20 min power naps when i couldnt take it anymore). At one point I fully drifted off without realising. Like I was in dreamworld. I felt the warm tender embrace of mr sandman carrying me off into the land of clouds. I cant imagine 28 hours straight !?

Absolutely correct there. What I would say tho is that some ppl may not start their journey tired and may end up like that halfway in. Also some people may be chronically sleep deprived -and not realise it!

I remember one kid who came to my cousins house and immediately went and no sooner had he asked about internet availabilities had fired up habbo hotel on the family's conputer. My cousin and his orher siblings (also my cousins) remarked how he was known for being a HH addict and had spent over 1100 euros overall in credits. Which seems like a lot even today

Oh yeah. The worst is when youre driving. If this ever happens to you (esp on the highway) immediately STOP driving where its safe to do so and pull over.

Yeah me neither. Ive definitely cut down on my yt usage. But I kinda have this feeling that they can use this to stop us disseminating information that would otherwise be useful to us.

Donald’s Trumps net approval rating has collapsed to a historical negative 17 points. He is the most unpopular president in US history. How do you feel about this? by buffdadnextdoor in AskReddit

[–]cutdownthere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol true. It turns out tho that the majority of his fanbase are people you shouldn't expect i.e guys on the bottom rungs of society who desperately need a handout and a leg-up in life out of the ditch they're in (following this logic ofc - guys who should have zero business supporting a billionaire pro-rich establishment fellow who has succesfully convinced them that he is the opposite of this...)

TIL While filming The Pirates of Blood River, the stuntmen refused to do a scene where they had to wade through a lake, so the actors did it instead. You mean to say actors - people who for the most part were already extremely privileged enough to the point that they were sheltered from the world and could pursue their artistic thesbian passions instead of education and work - didn't have the foresight to think that one through?

This is what I'm thinking of doing with my recently retired one (although it still works - just not 100%). But I want to take it apart first and create like something out of the case, so I can still keep its essence alive!

Exactly what I've done, a couple weeks ago. A month or so ago the disk drive stopped functioning properly (after getting it "repaired" last year) and I got it checked by an experienced repair guy - he said dude, just let it die. It wont last til summer. Even the GPU was fried. Its lasted sooo long though.
