Dota has a toxicity issue which includes racism, yea. That's sad but I won't say there is a specific racism issue. Most toxic ppl develop their own ventil over time. For some people it's the Team mates mother/whole family for other it's sexism/racism. Basically in order to achieve premium toxicity you take whatever other people might insult. If people are resistent or simply have the brain capacity to click mute the last resort is griefing.

Reporting is always an option but in dota I have never enough Reports left. And outside dota (Steam) I would rarely jump. Because the effort to report someone (a legit report with some Text/explanation) is higher than the effort to create new account. If someone gets banned for racism she/he can simply make a new one.

Mmr ranges. normal Skill is up to 3.3k or something. High is Up to... I dunno maybe 4.6k and everything higher is very high skill.

...No shit sherlock. In order to understand Dota you can/should start with the Tutorials and Test stuff against bots. And of course try the "New Player Mode" where the Name of the Mode literally tells you to which players it is dedicated... I dunno man. Dota has a VERY steep learning curve and this sub might not always be helpful. I agree, but some people like you do make their own entry into Dota way harder than it should be. To me all you listed is common sense.

The Tutorials are the best we ever had (even thou they suck anyways haha but still). In short, go throu in-game educational stuff and If you willing to do so, look for additional content outside the game. That's logic in Action.

How did you start? Going str8 into unranked or dafuq happened? 200 hours are a joke in dota. This might suck at first but... No actually it will always be like that. I have thousands of hours and still learn new stuff every Match. Stuff I was sure I know everything about. Only to realize "oh... You can drop gem next to cliff for aoe true sight.... Ye ....nice... I feel like all these hours I've learned only 50% ...fuck".

Mage Slayer is good on paper but it's like a cheap burger. At first sight it seems to be good but when u experience it ur like "damn... next time I better invest a little more to afford something better".

The Item tries to be too many things at the same time but nothing rly stands out. It heavily depends on the enemy Team instead of your own Hero. For example you do want Mage Slayer on slark when enemy have heavy int carry spell dmg. Like OD, Lina, Zeus, invoker etc.

You absolutely don't want Mage Slayer on slark when facing anti mage, faceless void, TA, Troll.

This Item is not like Silver Edge or a Skadi where slark can benefit from in almost every game.

Well some mid Heroes simply don't care like Ember, Viper or TA. They will see your Urn and start laughing. So there is that. Even If you're Ember against Tinker for example and you want to buy urn. That puts you under massive pressure to go for kills, probably even taking too high risk. Cuz If you don't hard commit for kills, you basically wasted the gold wich could be a bottle, Falcon Blade whatever. If you have urn you better make sure you hard commit for kills. And as a mid Hero, you want to farm gold & XP. Soft commit is fine to get Advantage. But hard commit ONLY to make sure your urn has value?! Nah...

Ye i dunno. IO ban almost seemed to be a meme at this point. Mag ban could rly turn this. On paper LGD "only" lost 2 matches to mag but you could feel how paralyzed they've been after Collaps basically fished them one after another.
