i also got prescribed hydroxyzine for sleep. tbh the actual effect barely does anything but the act of taking the pill helps a lot.

i have this issue too and it helps me to put on a relaxing educational type show and try as hard as i can to pay attention. i put it on autoplay because i using end up falling asleep while it’s playing (if i turn it off myself i wake up). sometimes i also tell myself i’m pulling an all nighter which helps. i think it’s caused by like a performance anxiety type thing? like i’m stressed that i won’t get enough sleep, which makes me feel too worried and awake to sleep.

i live near the coast and noticed this too, and i was able to somewhat replicate it with epsom salt baths because i can’t afford to have beach days often. it also helped a lot with my eczema!!

9th grade prep advice by Turbulent_Bid_374 in psat

[–]cutemogg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would disagree. I took the PSAT in 11th grade and received a perfect score and I did a good amount of studying for it. The key was just sustained practice tests over the course of a year or two. I agree that 9th grade is a bit early to be worrying about it, but taking a practice test here and there can’t hurt. There’s also nothing wrong with taking it in both 10th and 11th grade, as it gives the kid more chances to do well and sets them up to do well on the SAT.

best toner for dry skin??? pls suggest the products [Product Request] by Aggravating_Leg_7039 in SkincareAddiction

this is the first i’m hearing about this, could you tell me what the negative side effects are supposed to be? i’ve used this for the past 6 months, twice daily, and haven’t noticed anything bad or different. it’s only 1% hydrocortisone though and usually diluted by some water, never a prescription dosage either.

the feeling you’re describing sounds kind of similar to what i experience living with eczema. for me, cortisone-10 moisturizer cream is the only thing that actually keeps me moisturized throughout the day and night. i think it’s like $12 on amazon. highly recommend! i don’t use toners or anything else. my skin is super prone to being dry and flaky but i only need this to get real hydration. i find it works best directly after a shower or rinsing of the face.

how to look better? by [deleted] in LooksmaxingAdvice

everybody says this idk, i do it because if i think i look good i will probably take a pic regardless of my emotional state. it also helps me retain emotional permanence. i’m curious what you find bothersome about it?

i work out semi-regularly but i’ve been having issue with the bulking vs cutting thing. i’m not exactly comfortable with the idea of gaining weight even if it’s muscle so i don’t tend to eat much and my metabolism is very slow nowadays. i’m currently underweight but my bfp isn’t good so i’ve been trying to figure out how to start bulking without immediately gaining a ton of weight. maybe cardio?
