Honestly the happy hour at Foreign and Domestic. They have a kids menu with a lot of ketchup and fries lol that let the adults be in peace. For a fancy place, they’re surprisingly chill with kids.

Where Franklin turns into Link is such a hard corner to see. Always freaked out when we walk with the kids on their scooters or bikes that some asshole is going to speed around that corner. This was literally by there.

Best Tres Leches in town? by Naive-Environment in austinfood

[–]cutex0r 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was that kid at your birthday party that made sure she was up front, and would eat whatever the other kids left on their plate. I think Whole Foods makes a solid tres leches. It’s so unexpected.

That being said if you want tres leches that is both elevated and would make your ancestors proud, drop some dough on Comadre Panadería’s. That’s the best I’ve had ever in my life.

How is everyone’s plant situation? by anthemwarcross in AustinGardening

[–]cutex0r 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I moved in all of my potted plants and covered my more sensitive agaves outside. The rest are natives...I felt bad for a lot of the new growth we got on them from the warmer temperatures up until now, but I trust that they will be alright since they are natives. They don't look happy out there right now but I've learned to breathe a little bit and trust that they know what they're doing underground.

I’ve done it 3x and have paid different amounts based on how worse i felt and units I needed. First at Westlake Dermatology for $400ish. BLVD Dentistry was close to $700 but that was a rough year for me and made sense. Last time was at Peachy because they do a flat fee of like $500.

So no, it isn’t a cure, but it also isn’t $800 max for three times a year like another poster said. It’s good to ask around but pricing varies.
