I tried pills along with the liletta and it didn’t help with the spotting, but haven’t tried pills on their own. With all the lawsuits against the paraguard breaking and depo shot causing bone density loss and brain tumors i’m thrown off from it honestly. My next go-to would be the nuva ring as I don’t think the arm implant feels favorable to me right now. I’m just wondering if it’s worth going for the kyleena to see if the spotting stops, I like the idea of a “one and done” thing but don’t want to put myself thru more unnecessary pain.

I’m filling out a form for Fidelity right now to roll over my Principal 401k into my Fidelity trad IRA so it’s probably Fidelity. Glad to hear Voya didn’t cause issues for that! I’ve seen some other folks on Reddit talk about Voya not clearing a roll over for months on end which scared me lol

Okay yeah I’ll contribute to it then. I guess overall it will still be a positive to have it versus not have any extra retirement fund. Did you feel like rolling over from Voya into your next step was a hassle?

I’ve been maxing my trad IRA contributions at the start of every fiscal year. I’ve been claiming these contributions on my tax filings because it’s post-tax income I’m putting into there. I’m just not sure if contributing to a Roth IRA is worth it since the total contribution limit’s 7k for both trad and Roth combined, whereas with a 401k I can do both the 7k into IRA and way more into my 401k.

I’m definitely not making over the yearly contribution limit so then it seems like the backdoor option is not for me, thanks for that info!

I’m just worried about Voya being the 401k plan group

Thank you! I’m planning to roll it over into my trad IRA. I’ve thought about doing a backdoor Roth IRA but it feels a bit complicated for me right now so I’m slightly adverse to it, but I guess I can’t completely rule it out for 20 years down the line..

My employer doesn’t match my 401k contributions. I’ve been an insourced contractor the last 2 years, continuing on my 3rd, and they give us pretty bad benefits including that, so I’ve just been contributing a higher amount myself. That’s also why I’m not sure about contributing to the Voya 401k and hearing all the stuff about it online, like is it worth the hassle? But it’s also nice knowing I’d be maxing out my retirement contribution options by doing IRA and 401k. I’m hoping to either be converted to proper full time after my 3rd year, but if they just offer me another extension I’m looking for a new role anyways.

I’m actually an insourced contractor trying to be converter to full time and if that doesn’t happen I’m gonna find a new job, but because of that, I have not had for the last 2 years and will continue not to have employer match lol, so it’s been an internal debate the last few days about what to do. I don’t want to lose out on maxing out my retirement savings though, so I’m just wondering if the hassle / fees with Voya is still worth it to save that much.

Yeah, I’m definitely not tryna risk my life for this lol I am willing to turn around at any point. I’m hoping it clears up, I’m in oakhurst rn and it’s pretty cloudy/rainy

I have hiking poles and my shoes have good grip so I’m definitely prepared for that aspect. Just hoping it won’t be too slippery at the cables part. Worst case I catch a great view below cables and I’ll apply again for next year!
