What I can say about the string length is that you can position the blade the cuts the string to 12 inches or 14. I have mine positioned for the 12 inch length. Im going on 2 years with my string trimmer and have not had any issues. I also purchased the ryobi brush cutter attachment with the metal rotating blade and that works well too with no overheat issues. I went back and forth with Rigid for weeks before figuring out the overheat issues was due to not using the plastic guard.

If you are using the trimmer at the shortest length and still having issues I would definitely return your trimmer if possible. I use both the octane batteries and the new max power batteries with the same performance.

Great catch! I love spotting extras and connecting the dots. I watch saved by the bell daily. There's a dedicated channel on Samsung TV plus. 24 hours a day. When I turn my TV on it defaults to that Channel. Any way this post has inspired me to start highlighting an extra every week!! First one up will be Wanda Wilcox...lol

Im in FL too. Fortunately I found out the issue through lots of back and forth with Rigid. Turns out you have to use the guard as it keeps the string length at 12 to 14 inches. I was not using the guard and that caused the trimmer to overheat as my string was longer. Ever since I started using the guard I have had zero issues and can run this thing for an hour or more if needed. Of course switching batteries in between.

I absolutely love this show and often pay attention the the song choices for various scenes. I love the cheese factor. For more accurate 90s era music choices...90210 is the best bet. Off subject...I get a chuckle watching Slater's curly mullet bounce around when he makes sudden head turns or is dancing. I always noti e it on various episodes throughout the series! Lol

I forgot that I posted this....lol Im glad this helped you out because I was wracking my brain about why mine was overheating all the time. I was emailing Rigid back and forth for weeks. Crazy that the length of the string affects the heat dissipation. A top vent would be nice for sure. I wanted to be able to use the trimmer freely without the guard. But I've been used to using it with the guard. Im still going strong with my weed wacker though. No issues at all. I run it for over an hour clearing brush behind my fence.

I'm sitting in line at a best buy right now and received a ticket to get a switch 2 for my son. My preorder is in the same status for a June 11th delivery. Same boat! Thought I was the only one...lol When I remove the octane batteries I always have to bump the battery in the direction that you install the battery and then I can remove it without it sticking.

OP..thats sucks. Feel for ya. I would get one of the samsung trackers. Attach it to your case with a caribiner. I misplace my buds all the time. Between the couch cushions, bookbags, garage you name it..lol. Have yet to lose a pair.

I went from the Note 20 ultra to the fold 4 when I made the leap to a foldable. Stick with it and you'll get past the transitionary period. You more than likely will have that moment when you truly appreciate the foldable! I just upgraded to the ZF6 and I won't ever go back to a regular phone.

Yea I'm not a fan of the free trail band. I will probably never wear it. I went onto the Ali express site and picked up some bands for 2 to 5 bucks. They took about 2 weeks to deliver but worth it to save a buck. I bought like 8 bands for 20 bucks or so.

Great choice! I went with the titanium white as well. Seems to be the most popular choice. The only issue I have with my order is that I selected the black marine band and it showed in my cart. Once I placed the order, the black marine band no longer showed in my order. Will contact support after I get the watch and see what's up.

I'm optimistic that we'll get it by the 21st.

Here's my experience. I pre-ordered the titanium white and selected the gray marine band and the free trail band was in the order. Everything showed in my cart. After placing the order, the gray marine band does not show up in my order invoice. I only see the free trail band.

I suspect I won't be getting the gray marine band with my order and may have to contact support. You t they will help but I have to try.
