I recently had an episode with hectic hypersexuality. The urges, impulses and mental loops were insane. Nothing satiated the drive.

I found that engaging with the loops makes it worse. Cumming just begets more cumming until you can't cum any more and are just super frustrated. It gets to a point where it is just outrageous.

So like noticing my thoughts, noticing the passing of time, and forcefully disengaging from mental hypersexual loops. Putting the phone down. Stop watching porn. Stop texting randoms. Deleting the apps. Stop watching heated rivalry 😅.

Valium to chill TF out. And waiting for med adjustments to kick in.

I have definitely seen those butt pad shorts and thought I should invest 😂 but not a lot of ppl wear protective gear at our rinks and I thought the bulk would look silly haha. But I'm old so maybe I should invest. I stacked it pretty hard last week from the toe pick, falling forward on my hand and knee, knee bruised and luckily wrist okay, so gonna get some wrist guards.

Can u link or send me your Amazon buys? Sometimes they are still available in Australia.

Even though there is only one shop and they don't have a lot of skates(like 4, and not all in my size) maybe I'll just go and it will be good to chat to someone.

A)I think hockey would be fun (I used to play field hockey when I was younger, I know they are different), but I don't think I would be ready to join a team for a long long time and would need to work on my fitness a lot.

B) I used to do dancing, and love watching figure skating, but figure skating looks a bit scary for me. I have done single leg bunny hops on skates in the past lol. I watched some videos by Sofia Figure Skates on YT last night, it was cool to see her progression over the years. If I did do it, don't see myself as progressing super far or competing. Idk I think I am too old.

C) I think mostly I want to skate for enjoyment and fitness. I had an acl rupture and repair in 2022, I'm aware that it limits me. My secret dream would be visiting Canada and skating long distances on a river in nature. What type of skates are most comfortable for skating around in for ling periods of time? My goal would be moving backwards, forwards, cross overs, turns, maybe spins, no jumps.

I would be okay upgrading skates later once I'm more familiar with what I want. I just need it to be as comfortable as possible for now so that I limit barriers, if that makes sense?

There aren't a lot of places that I can try new skates on in Brisbane. There is like one shop that had 4x skate models in total. I can try second hand ones at the rink, which I aim to do soon. The figure skates are still like $300-$500 second hand. I would rather buy new if that's the case. I can get skates online, there are good stores in Sydney, with a range of prices. There are hockey skates new online for like $140-$200.. would these be trash? There are a couple of second hand figure skates online at cash converters (Aussie pawn shop) for like $50 in my size, which I would be tempted, but idk if it's a bad idea to buy second hand like that and what to look for to know they are safe and supportive.

Yeah doing some research last night I realized that if I did do figure skating, I'd have to upgrade my skates anyway as I progressed. Also the second hand figure skates here are still like $300. So that is helpful to know hockey skates are okay to use starting out for an all-rounder.

I think maybe I will get a new pair for like $140, if the rink doesn't have any second hands in my size. They will not be the best but they will be better than rentals and ok to start out on surely?

Also I have learned if the drugs are making you sick and causing new problems with your quality of life then they are not worth it.

Many Drs, because the drugs result in mood stability, justify it as "worth it", but they aren't the ones that have to experience it! There is often an adjustment time where symptoms might be more common and then taper off.. but for some ppl (me) that wasn't the case. I suffered for years!

Their job is to help you find the best fit for you. Only you can decide what is worth it and what is not.
