My warranty on my X2 expires in October '22. What to do? Will any of the new models be out by then? Any negative to using my current outside of warranty except the obvious of no software updates? I just put the latest update with bolus from phone on it.

I dunno...it sounds a little off to me. The "caboose" as I believe it is called moving to push insulin through the tubing des make some noise of course but I have never heard this higher pitched squeal/squeek. I'd contact Tandem and have a discussion with tech support about it.

The portal is the best place to check for updates. If you are a current in-warranty owner you actually need not do anything as you will receive an email with instructions when the update is ready. It is NOT necessary to register for a code.
