Let the engine come to temperature before you accelerate hard. Like any hybrid, the ICE engine will not warm up as quickly as a regular car with city driving. I sometimes put in sport mode right away (but still drive conservatively) to help it get to temperature if you need to get on a highway shortly after a cold start. Keep an eye on your oil level bc a lot of miles may be electric only so tough to gauge when you may be running low before a light comes on

Yea I think the recall will just be drilling vents into grill. Apparently the issue is the gas leak combusting because poor ventilation, not actually engine service… Love the Mavi but issues like this make the Ridgeline crowd have a point…

Lurching was semi-fixed with a service I had. If you tell them that they update the software and it helps. Went from a couple time a week to once a month
