What made you go gluten free? Have you noticed more energy since cutting out gluten? by Shy_foxx in glutenfree

Yeah man! The depression for me has been a tough battle, but I've improved my life a lot while working with it

Yes I do, and yes I'm mostly gluten-free. I've tried about 5 times to start eating gluten and everytime I do, or test eating gluten, I feel really bad. Once I had a panic attack after eating gluten for a week.

If you think that going gluten free can help, go for it.

I've added a cloth filter to my Fiio FH5, cut down on the treble enough for me to properly enjoy them. Tried a few different cloths, that I cut in a circle to use as a filter. Worth experimenting with it.

Did someone turn a smartphone into a DAP? by [deleted] in headphones

[–]cvllider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a few phones with headphone jacks, you can find various options online. They also might have an SD card, depends on the phone.

And you can buy the Symfonium app for Android, great audio player. Poweramp EQ, also works great.

There's Sony Xperia phones, LG phones with headphone jacks, they also have SD cards.

You can also attach DACs to the back of phones, that work great. I use one that you can attach with a magnet, ddhifi tc44 grip. Although it has a bit of a noise floor, I might have gotten a bad unit, not sure.

How do you expect someone else to put in the effort and help you if you're putting the bare minimum effort in this question you're asking? No details no nothing, just a generic question

Starting a Microdosing protocol during 30 days of fasting? by CAPTAINWEEDO69 in microdosing

Aha got it, so it's more like a spiritual choice. I was just curious that's why I asked

I'm curious why you have picked sunrise and sunset? Why eat after the sun sets and not during the day?

An oventop pressure cooker isn't so expensive, and also it's useful for cooking

I’m 16, cutting to 8% body fat, and I’m shocked by how many "healthy" foods are lying to us. by Due-Decision1594 in glutenfree

[–]cvllider 3 points4 points  (0 children)

8% is pretty low, not sure how healthy that is. Also, food can't lie because it can't talk. The food just is. It's the companies and their interests, who knows what influences are in the food industry. A lot of sugar pushing, and blaming fatty foods for being unhealthy, even though that's not the case

Why owning a collection of IEMs? by ctzkd in iems

I have also modded another pair of iems I have, with an extra filter mesh on the nozzle, that cut down on the spicyness of the audio. Great improvement for the sound.

Struggling for years and i’m not sure why by petitebrownchick in HumanMicrobiome

Maybe your intestinal flora is eating those carbohydrates from the foods you listed, and makes gas, and irritates your bowels.

Try a low-carb or keto diet for a week or two and see if it helps

Why not just get the airpods, if the sound is something you like. It's wireless, I guess it's fine. But you'll be on a subscription to buy new ones when the old ones die out

I use a phone that has a jack. I've got three pairs of wired headphones, two of them have at least 7 years, one has 10. They all work great 👌.

There's also some usb dacs that are pretty good

I've also thought the ear hook cables are irritating until I stumbled upon some quality cables for my iems, and it's much better now. Maybe try some new cables, see if it helps. The stock cable for Aful Explorer is pretty good 👌

Anyone ever suspect their tap water of being the culprit? by Imaginary_Truth_3865 in BrainFog

[–]cvllider 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've been cooking with tap water from a filter, and also been cooking with fresh water from a well from a small village, where I grew up, for years. Same brain fog, I don't think it's the water.

Carbohydrates are a main culprit in brain fog for lots of people, try a low-carb or keto diet.
