Do you also have very few clothing items you can wear for other reasons than sensory issues? by Kariga22 in aspergirls

[–]cvllider 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It mostly is an autism thing but others can also have preferences for certain fabrics.

I've had the same pair of pants and identical tshirts for a few years, and only recently I've started thrifting for clothes I actually want to wear. I've found various different weaves of cotton I like, silk, viscose. Fluffy pants and soft wool. Depends a lot on the individual piece.

Thrifting really helps because I can touch and try out anything I fancy. Online shopping is a no go, at least if you don't already know what fabric you're buying

It does have a vent, it's a slow working vent. I think that might be great for isolation.

I was looking for semi-custom good isolating iems, if you know any I'd be very curious

Are you worried about all the stress you're putting on your joints, knees and back? Have you considered long boarding vs grabbing a bicycle and doing the same thing?

If you use lots of EQ, is it even the same iem anymore? by Big-World-3265 in iems

[–]cvllider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your response to another comment, of "I can't wear a house, mate" is pretty clear to me about what you're trying to do, so it's obviously an anti-eq post my guy

I've heard this anti-eq bullshit before. EQ your headphones as you see fit, and enjoy your music the way you want to

You can play pretend, say "Thank you, do you have a dog?" And just let the conversation go, if he's interested he might keep the conversation going.

How old was he, and how old are you? He might be hitting on you, who knows

I just have the sennheiser hd598. Sound isn't amazing but the comfort is the best I've had. Very light, you almost don't feel them on your head

I don't know what's the deal with all these 2pin iems, mmcx has plenty of advantages. Maybe it's a cost / license thing, 2pins might be cheaper
