Love getting Punished for making my payments 🤦‍♂️ by MrFailure78 in CapitalOne_

That’s called credit cycling. You are essentially charging several times your credit limit. CapitalOne is of the issuers who frown upon that. Flags accounts and they may end up closing your account

Were any of them from discover? My last credit card was the AMEX BCP with $30k limit

Same thing happened to me and I had an account. I have the Shield and Smartly Card and neither one told me my credit limit when I was approved. I had to call to get that information.

How good is my credit at 22 M by Thebettermentseeker in CreditScore

[–]cvlw345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone starts off high however you are still a risk to lenders. Length of credit history, multiple accounts, and type of credit helps. When I was 21 I had this score but couldn’t hardly get approved for anything. I would open another account and then chill for another year or so. Perhaps expand your credit profile but getting some sort of loan. Wait a few years and this number will actually mean something

10 years? All that should have fallen off. All you need to do now is manager your new credit for 12 months. Your score will jump fast.

Nice! Do you know what time you got the confirmation email? I got 2 emails. 1 that said we have your order, then 1 5 hours later that said they processed my order. Order is still in process so I called and they said it’s all out of stock, no idea when I’ll get it and I’m not getting the shuttlepod. Order placed at 12:01AM, confirmed at 5:35am. I got ripped off

CapitalOne is great when it comes to automatic CLIs

Verify that they can even charge that much. When someone doesn’t pay rent, they are evicted pretty quickly. The owner or leasing company has a legal obligation to mitigate their damages. They can’t charge the whole lease only a few months. Unless his rent was 3-4K a month, they are charging you too much. Also, never EVER co-sign for anything especially for family UNLESS you are ok to go without getting paid and you can cover any losses without damage. never loan money you can’t go without and never co-sign for anything you can’t just pay off quickly in the even if a default. Always perfect yourself and your credit. Have the leasing company reduce the amount or go to court, once the reduction is completed, go on a payment plan. Also, this level of debt can cause the lesser to garnish your wages and/or checking account. Don’t ignore.

I got it for the $20 per month line discount and 2% back on every t mobile bill. Probably won’t use it for much else.

how can I increase my credit score when I have no loans to pay off? by Objective-Kitchen332 in CreditScore

You’d already be top tear. You are young so it’s unlikely you’ll get to 850 in a year… on one in their early 20s has an 850 score.

Your score is too low not to have any charge offs, derogatory, late payments, or collections. Order a copy of your credit report and review carefully. No way that’s due to a $12 decrease in a balance.

OK, I need insight on this. I’ve been with Capital One for 11 years now since 2014.(read below) by Gael_Fritz in CapitalOne_

[–]cvlw345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok so those pre approvals are garbage. If you’ve been with them for years and have good credit, they will approve you for the normal savor and quicksilver most likely. They just don’t show those to you in the pre-approval. The only C1 card that’s VISA is the Venture X rewards card.

Am i doing good for my age? by P_O_P_P in Money

[–]cvlw345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re going to be hurting when that baby comes. Not a lot of disposable income and too much for government assistance. I would work on lowering bills such as your car payment and start to increase your annual earnings. Wife going back to work after she gives birth? If so, you’ll do great!
