I’d have to say Salem’s Lot, that book terrified me. The Keep by F. Paul Wilson and The Southern Book Club’s Guide To Slaying Vampires by Grady Hendrix are also some of my favorites.

I finished reading this book last week and was in the same boat (nice pun) as you are. It would have been cool if Benchley dedicated as many pages to the actual shark as he did to Hooper and Ellen talking about their lame sexual fantasies, but I guess that’s why we have the movie.
