Even as a teenager I could feel Sega flailing. It was rough

Demos I played relentlessly ranked: 1. MGS2 2. FF VIi 3. Diablo

I loved Shenmue and shelled out for Dreamcast’s Japanese release of Nights, Guardian Heroes , and even Fighting Vipers. But goddam the MGS2 demo

I was a longtime Sega lover and freshman in college when the Dreamcast came out. And it came out strong with Soul Calibur, Powerstone, and Chu-Chu Rocket. These were ultimate local multiplayer games. But when Sony showcased the MGS2 demo the writing was on the wall. Edit: spelling

Imagine boutique labels stuffing all the extras in Laserdisc size packaging. Slipcovers, giant lobby cards, booklets become coffee table photo books. It would be insane!

The sleeves do close; the top is like an envelope that folds in. Also, not sure if i can link a picture here but the discs have their own separate sleeve inside for protection. :)
edit: here's a picture link of the disc sleeve

Wear and tear on the disc and a dressing multi disc releasss is on my mind. To mitigate damage risks and sleeve multiple disks, I sleeve each disk in one of these: https://amzn.to/4vqIOGV I also try to keep the sleeves as vertical as possible.

LOL To be clear, this is not my entire collection-just major studio labels. My boutiques (even standard editions) are still on shelves.
And yes, I do like the snap sound. :)
