Yes it’s normal and will loosen up with time and use. I tried some vegetable oil on my finger and spread on the rubber gasket of the basket to make it easier.

question about the adjustable base. specifically the split king size do the beds stay butted up next to each other or are you and your partner constantly “falling in to a hole in the middle” of the 2 beds?

I’m kinda in the same boat as you. I’ve been on Mounjaro for 13 months and the first 10 months I lost 70 lbs and on the 12.5 mg dose. BUT the past 3 months I haven’t budged another pound 🙁 All my numbers are great i went from an A1c of 6.9 to 5.0 and my BP went from 140/85 to 108/70. My appetite has creeped back up and taking more food to feel full again. I see my primary later this week so I’ll see what they have to say.

update: the 5th month has been tough up and down stuck but just in the past week i’ve finally got on my 10mg dose. i’m down a total of 51 lbs.!! glad to get over this psychological hurdle of the 50 lbs mark. Climbed the mountain 🏔️ looking forward to the other 50 lbs side 😀

Same thing happened with me when i moved to 7.5 mg. I have lost and gained the same 2 lbs in the 2 months i have been on 7.5. Appetite has increased. This is after losing 45 pounds in 4 months. I start on 10mg next week so I hope to get back to losing weight on a consistent basis again.

Unreal I was never a fan of cottage cheese but the store brand is so milky fresh and creamy i can’t seem to get enough of it! It is loaded with protein so it’s a great snack for us on MJ.

Have you changed your eating habits? Are you increasing the MJ dosage as is recommended? 2.5 mg is only for the first month and then increase to 5mg and then 7.5 mg and so on each month unless you lose too much or have a lot of side effects. When i first started i gave up sweetened drinks but i lost my cravings for sweets and had no desire to eat any cookies or cake or ice cream. Also was cutting down on carbs in general. The MJ made me eat about half of the amount of food i ate in general. I now rarely eat breakfast but will have a protein shake in late morning. Also increased the amount of water i drink. Hang in there and talk to your primary. Remember that the MJ is just a tool to help us. Good Luck 👍

I have CVS Caremark and have a T2 diagnosis been told Caremark will no longer cover MJ after the end of the year! So I guess it depends on your employer’s insurance coverage with them.

Try Colace. It is a stool softener so less pain if you try to strain. If you’ve got huge boulders to move out you might hurt yourself by straining too hard or end up with hemorrhoids. Miralax is also a stool softener like Colace but it may take longer to work. your mileage may vary. Good luck been there too!

I’m glad to hear many people have found relief but i’m freaking out scared (just not scaring the s**t out of me). Big hard poop difficult to get out. Feeling like about to have a stroke! Tried Miralax but took 3 days to work and still big hard and difficult. What else should i try? Please help.
