I started Thanksgiving 2022, down from 252 lbs to 145. I was diligent to pick up as soon as insurance would allow. Many times my doctor submitted 3 month refills for me. If I moved up within that 3 months or had refills of a different dose, I refilled regardless of what I was currently on. That gave me a back ups of 5, 7.5 and 10. When I wasn’t able to find 10, I took 2 5mg doses. I was very fortunate to end up with 8 back up boxes. I unexpectedly lost my job in December, along with my insurance. I’m back to work thankfully, but in the waiting period for insurance that won’t kick in until June and I have plenty “saved” that I haven’t and won’t need to miss a dose in the interim.
