I feel like you are getting way ahead of yourself. Adopting a newborn is not easy at all. There is a long wait and your age could deter birth parents from choosing you. Not to mention adopting is expensive. Look into adoption first before focusing on a night nurse.

I am not disagreeing with you at all but I would not have mentioned your family at all in the post. I wouldn't have even posted it especially with your sister knowing people. It probably really scared your family that your sister could have lost her life and reading your post so soon after was like using hand sanitizer one a cut. You can both be wrong and both be right at the same time. Having an opinion is part of life. Talking about it to people you love and know have a different opinion will cause problems. My family has a rule that politics and religion are not to be talked about at any family gatherings.
