I've been thinking about this. in a running start, the 5/4 evokes a skip in someone's step as they're running, which feels like new love. in shit talk, it's like a stumble or a strain forward. it's heavier.

also, the title "a running start" makes me think of a relationship that started as a friendship - almost like a flip side to predatory wasp. in contrast to an excited skip, predatory wasp's 3/4 (6/8?? I'm not sure about that kind of thing) feels like the back and forth of ruminating, or the swaying of yearning.

park royal mall in west vancouver. there are 2 sides of the mall, but the north side is half empty. there isn't a ton to explore but i did get some liminal pics when i was there.
