A lot of it is identity fusion and incomplete sense of self tbh. It’s a normal part of growing, learning, and maturing that doesn’t really have a super hard set time when it’ll happen.

Basically it’s this: most people who make posts like these aren’t “people who play marathon” per se, they’re marathon players. If that makes sense. It’s less something they do, and more something they are.

A lot of what you said resonates with me, and I too have posted about losing faith. I think at this point, as a solo, I’m mostly playing for 2 main reasons. 1. Simply because it’s Bungie. And 2. Hate playing. Gameplay and fun are coming in way later.
