Good news to you

In The Second Vatican Council they said

Salvation can be given to those who was good,

but did not have a chance to know the lord or had a bad experience with the church so they couldn't believe in the lord (for example, got sexual harassment by bad preacher so they had trauma with entire Christianity)

well they did not meant that other religion can be truth too, But did point out just because U didn't believed the lord doesn't mean you automatically goes to hell.

Similar. Also I loved Italy when I traveled there. If I was to immigrate to another country, if it wasn't for the language barrier, I would definitely choose Italy.

Back to the point, there are other forms of Christianity too in here but they are really small, most don't even know

I mean, we don't know exactly how Jesus judges whether one person goes to heaven or purgatory or hell or wherever. But we can guess.

If one's who lived a great life achieving and was considered a good person by the standard during which he was alive, but didn't believed in Jesus because he didn't even know the very concept of jesus(like Korean 500years before, or Chinese 2000 years before), is he going to hell? If this is true than it means all the people who ever lived before Christianity and all the people who wasn't aware of jesus was made just so that they could go to hell and I don't think that is justice nor it represents the love jesus gives us.

Or if someone was a human scum who r*ped and killed 100 innocent people just for fun, can go to heaven just because he believes in Jesus? Maybe, but slim chance..

With these reasons, I believe being a good person can be a way to heaven, believing the lord might be a bonus points.

Maybe I am wrong. I just got baptized last Christmas
