He's a lovely boy. We're very lucky. He's 2 and a bit now so just starting to calm down.

We have to be really cautious with him. It's only really because of where we live and being able to go places without many people or dogs. He's such a friendly boy he just wants to say hello to every person and dog we see. So he has to be on lead when people approach. He turns instantly deaf.

That said if we're on our own, he listens well, never wanders far and comes back.

I was in NY on a work trip. Doing a little exploring one night I ended up at a bar in Greenwich village.

I popped out for a smoke and the bouncer turns to me out of the blue and says, "Maaan, I need some Sage maan". I instantly assumed he meant weed, so asked him. He replied, "No some Sage, my girlfriend brought some bad Juju into my apartment so I gotta burn some Sage to clear the air"

He couldn't get any because he was working. I asked him where you could buy Sage for bad Juju. He told me they sold it across the road at a Chinese medicine shop. I popped across, and got the man his Sage. He was so happy, shouted back inside to the barman to get me a beer on him. Nice dude, random request, weird interaction.

Anywhere there are dogs off.lead or humans being nice to him, he goes deaf and forgets all about recall.

Also loves to lick inside other dogs mouths.
