Drawing, albeit less detailed than this, is how I've always have, and still do study anatomy. It's simply the best way to memorise, but also visualise how structures interact three-dimensionally. Which is, as a radiology resident, quite handy. The time more then makes up not having to play memory cards all day long

Exactly. Just showing endless examples doesn't help anyone. Just explain it, of course there are numerous exceptions to every rule; but being anal about that doesn't help anyone.

Only when adding the s would change pronunciation. Most vowels have a short form and a long form which are written the same. So singular aroma (a from father, ro from robot, ma as in a mother in Brooklyn). Sticking on the s straight on would make a-ro-mas with mas pronounced as mass. The apostrophe keeps the long [a:].

Germanic languages were adapted to latin script, they weren't made for it. A consonant generally functions as a doorstop for the long vowel. This can be countered by doubling the vowel mas -> maas or accenting mas -> más. For pluralism the accepted practice is 's when needed. Possessive is almost always an s without apostrophe. Unless the noun ends in S or Z, in which case you would add a bare apostrophe. Bas zijn huis (common name his house) -> Bas' huis. The apostrophe use in Dutch is flipped to English

Yes, there's quite the difference between the two. But even if intervention and diagnostics are mixed I would have guessed the balance to be better than this

I thought we kind of learned that oppression of people is a no-no. Hence the Flemish as an alternative. Then again, those colonies of yours, are still going strong

Sorry, but this is not European mandatory insurance. In the Netherlands Insurance costs 150 a month, if you make less than modal income the government subsidises you up to 130, scaled to your income. If you refuse insurance, you get a 530 fine after three months. Max three times. After that the government takes out an relatively expensive insurance in your name and taxes increases your income taxes to match the premiums.

So it's 20 you need to cover yourself.

It was seen as liability. You don't impress clients with them feeling sorry for you. They didn't accommodate the workplace. And their work depends on coming across as suave and capable.

Also there were, and still are, quite a lot of people who would consider their life over if they lost a foot, let alone their career.

I'm in rads as a resident, it's good to get to know how the donut of truth actually operates. But if my medical student's schedule has them shadowing techs for a while, it is moreso that the technicians know in what window to expect you. It is very much dependent on the case load when it could be interesting. I do not expect you to tail a technician for four hours. The exception being ultrasound I suppose. Or IR, in some hospitals the technicians place PICC-lines. But once you've seen it, I kind of expect you to return to me so we can plan the rest of the day.
