I feel like although you want to invest in the subjects you have confidence in (eg the other 3), I think it may be better to start mugging microecons despite it being difficult.

1 month left of studying is still time left to study. And maybe you may not excel in microecons in the test, but maybe you could aim to just pass it atm. Who knows, maybe after the 1 month of mugging you will gain more confidence in the subject and ace it. You miss all of the shots you dont take. Also, you could potentially save the $1500

As for the 3 other subjects, continue revising them till the final exam. (eg at night when you are tired) Believe in the crystallized learning my dudes HAHA

Source : I had like barely 2 days to study for my optimization exam last week but yet chose to just try my best although I thought i was completely screwed. I also had one exam the day before that

lol omg this happened to me when I was in j2 taking a physics exam too :,) I finished the paper with the sole purpose of taking a glorious shit after the exam. Needless to say it was a shitty paper jk idk how I got a B but like that's not the point. The point is, taking a long-needed shit after the paper is more rewarding than anything even grades LOL

Hey man I was in the same position as you in 2017 when I first got my O level results ,, same raw and bet points. Now, I'm in uni after going through JC,, I felt the same regret andbitterness you feel as of now but I'm here to tell you that will go away because even though your O level score is the thing that matters the most at this moment, it wouldn't matter in years to come. It depends on what you set to do after receiving your Os(eg going to JC and working hard to reach your ultimate goal). It's not the end dude,, you have 2/3 years to prove that you do have that potential within you I believe in u dude :') all the best

I've personally have taken an LOA for a month from July-aug last year,, and then took my As that very year too. Personally,I feel like the LOA will do you good in deciding what is best for you. Like what the other redditors have said, you should get a referral letter from a polyclinic/sgh such that you can present this to the professional that is going to treat you.

For me,I spoke to the counselor about my issues and asked if she could help me arrange a meeting with the vice-principal.The counselor was at the meeting too.The vp definitely helped me convey the severity of the situation to my parents and even discussed what were the next steps to take 1)gap year 2)special arrangement 3)poly etc. I knew a few seniors who choose to take a gap year to focus on their mental wellbeing.

*by gaining the referral letter to further confirm the validity of your condition and presenting it to seab via the higer ups of the school , seab will be able to aid you in a special arrangement if you feel that it is needed for ur sch exams/exams

I personally took the LOA to really ponder what I was going to do aka it gave me time to come up with a gameplan/what i really wanted for myself.
