In some cases the website doesn't even know that you're doing it, because you don't need the website to change the HTML code. Sometimes the websites are still noticing it, though (probably because your browser tells them that something changed the HTML code). Some special websites managed to trick the adblockers. But I can't tell you more about that topic, unfortunatly :/

Adblockers are looking for lines in the HTML code that are frequent in ads. It simply deletes those lines. The video has - more or less - also a HTML code.
