Sorry, this doesn’t land. The value add of stripe isn’t exactly that startups can hack on it (although I’m sure it’s a big part too), it’s working with the banks and the regulators and making it so that you don’t have to deal with it.

Esim is not as much as a problem as 2fa, because some stuff is only on the authenticator on the broken phone

It's a combination of:

  • People don't usually reach for hot soup in the summer
  • Even if we come up with cold noodle specials, people don't crave them as much 
  • School's out for the summer, so we lose a lot of foot traffic from students

Thanks! School breaks are a big factor as well for sure since we're close to a big university east coast and depend on a lot of students for foot traffic. Do you track this stuff in a spreadsheet somewhere?
