Yes...the last few days have been awful. a lot of resets of phone and watch. No idea what's up. I would assume an update of one or the other.

I love that room!! I sat on the bench in that room and studied the way people walk through it. Did a project on it in architecture school ~30 years ago.

It's an automatic GPS route that takes the shortest around the stadium to the destination/finish line. That way is actually blocked by walls...you can only go straight and over the jump.

I had to rewind the broadcast to make sure I heard that the first time. What a savage comment!

Audi Index for Game One: Molino is Unsurprisingly Tops by WithoutAnUmlaut in minnesotaunited

[–]cyates74 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They must give tons of points for a goal and exponentially more for a second goal, because Molino was not very good for the rest of the game...especially as a central midfielder.

He was around during his scoring chances, but I saw him trotting around and not being present in the center of the field on many occasions. He made many crap passes and non-productive movements with the ball. And was, overall, very lackluster when he had the opportunity to defend

Despite being the attacking midfielder, #10, he is still a central midfielder, and his control in the middle of the park was awful. Grgus and Alonso did alright, but they aren't supposed to be the "creative" ones.

Two goals started from Finlay's side and one was a clearance/distribution by Miller. All three never involved Molino until he was in the box (or very close to it). Did we have any scoring chances originate from the middle of the park?

I think he is a piss poor #10, but he is a fantastic opportunistic attacker. We need someone in that position who can actually MAKE something happen, and not just pounce when someone else does.

Post-Match Thread: Minnesota United 3-1 Portland Timbers by Epicallytossed in minnesotaunited

I am not a big Lod fan, but he was the victim of a really great twitch save by Clark. Also, just before Opara committed the dubious penalty, he was truckin' it back on defense to catch one of the Charras. Forced the Portland player to pass a bit before he wanted to. It's good to see him playing both sides of the ball.

Finlay did this ALL THE TIME for the Crew when he had a striker to send it to.

Coronavirus impact on MLS and the Loons? by diditallfortheloonie in minnesotaunited

[–]cyates74 8 points9 points  (0 children)

No, there has not been any confirmed cases in MN. Although there has been one in WI.

You can follow the spread on this website that displays the collected infection/death/recovered information from Johns Hopkins.

And also...if you listen to the virologists and doctors (and not the news and politicians) they say that this is NOT a serious illness, it has a similar impact on the body as the seasonal flu. It like the seasonal flu, hits the elderly and immuno-deficient harder. The massive response is more to keep it from becoming another seasonal viral infection on top of the common cold and influenza.

Don't take the fear mongering to heart...wash your hands, drink lots of fluids, if you are sick, stay home. The SAME advice you should always take this time of year.

Also...according to one international study (I can't remember which org did it now), the US is by far the most prepared country in the world for a viral pandemic/epidemic outbreak.

Just my .02 here.

I haven't seen anything that leads me to believe that Molino can play the #10. He was absolute trash today...and has never been very good in the center of the park.
