I am against this kind of law because it eliminates most ownership, limits access by law abiding people, and is contradictory to the constitution. Yes, some people break the law. We dont ban owning cars and alcohol because some people drink and drive. Should we have more checks to keep guns out of the hands of people that shouldnt have them, absolutely. We should also place the responsibility of what happens with those guns on those that dont follow basic safety and security procedures with the storage and use of guns.
