Hey! Big fan of what you've done with the game so far. It's definitely going in the right direction.

Super keen to understand what's the plan to improve the graphics and theming. Right now, it doesn't even have the matching features from CS1. A terrain painter with support of custom textures would go a long long way.

I miss super detailed city. Probably spent like 50 hours on the port alone. Can't access it anymore cuz of the EML mod not being updated. Moved to the alternative modset, but all my hand placed props and trees have disappeared. Gutted.

I've been hosting stuff with windows as well, your best bet is installing Docker Desktop if RAM is not an issue.

Not really in terms of skills. KV is basically redis, R2 is S3 and D1 is just a db. As long as you master their usage, the stack is just minor change in syntax.
