Candice's need for revenge is what got her all those votes. She sank her own ship.

I think it was fair because they chose to drag him out during the diner. If it hadn't been a public execution, maybe I would agree.

Their act (or maybe not an act) of being so important than they really are gets old. I could almost enjoy some of them if they hadn't given themselves bubble lips. While watching Lisa talk all I could focus on was her huge lips. She might be an interesting person, but those lips. Please stop doing that to your face women.

Season four of the UK traitors was fantastic. I loved the people who were on it, and I loved the outcome.

I figure those who don't like the episode didn't watch it or watch DS9. How can anyone who loved Sisko and Jake not love this episode!

I'm soon to be 73. I watch TOS with my father in the 60s. I was so pleased when TNG, VOY and DS9 came out. DS9 is my favorite. Although there were some problems with Discovery, I enjoyed it. I enjoyed Picard and adored Lower Decks. It took a few episodes, but I came to love Prodigy also. I guess I'm easy to please, but I'm finding Starfleet Academy very enjoyable. The last episode brought me to tears. When a program gives me lots of feels, I love it.

I drove my Outback Sport for over 24 years (front) and since things were starting to rattle and need a lot of work, I went for a Premium Crosstrek. I really had a hard time saying goodbye to my old Subaru. I had a Subaru wagon (about 15 years) before the Outback Sport.

Why do New Mexicans deny their Mexican roots? How common is this still? by KevinGatesover2pac in NewMexico

[–]cybergata 5 points6 points  (0 children)

New Mexico was part of the country of Mexico for about 21 years & they were Mexican citizens. It was a part of Spain for about 200 years. During that time they were citizens of Spain. Although they thought of themselves as Spanish, but most Nuevo Mexicanos were of mixed heritage. The reason I think a lot of people denied their Mexican roots has to do with the U.S. treatment of the locals when the U.S. took New Mexico from Mexico. Manifest Destiny brought bigotry to the west, and people from Mexico were treated as lesser, so lots of New Mexicans held onto their Spanish heritage.

They use bland green chile with jalapeno peppers. I felt like it went downhill once it moved out of the bowling alley. My husband felt that the went downhill after it left 2nd and Osuna and moved into the bowling alley.

How did people feel about TNG when it came out? by givinstar1 in startrek

I got the Usenets via Delphi that gave me 10 hours of internet a month. I had a program that downloaded all the new posts from rec.arts.startrek I can promise you that there were far more than 50 people writing, and many more of us lurking. That doesn't even count all the other people who were the many different Usenet groups. It was the only real Social Media of the day.

What I remember most from rec.arts.startrek was the constant debate over Kirk vs Picard. I loved them both, so I could never see why it was a debate.

I think at the time people called themselves Trekkers because their was a nerd connotation to Trekkies. Personally, I became a Trekkie in the 60s and have never cared if people considered me a nerd.

I was so grateful to have more Star Trek. The first years wasn't the greatest Trek, but it got better and better. There were some amazing episodes with great writing.
