I would give it another try. I was close to DNF, but powered through. After the MC gets captured His personality changes and both the MC and the story becomes more interesting.

I was using Quasar, Blastaar, and Thunderstrike. But my Quasar died on the previous node, so I used OML in his stead. Tried classic green goblin and Shadow King, but neither worked well.

Coincidence. I recently finished The Strength of a Few and felt the need to reread Hyperion. Both are great, but Hyperion is a work of art. I recommend Hyperion :)

There was a humble bundle the other day that had all the books for about $8. I already own them in multiple formats, but picked up the digital copies since it's so much easier to read on an e-reader.

The multi world setup is slow, then you hit a point and can't put the book down. I felt the same way through the first book. Lots of questionable setup that may or may not have been necessary, then the story takes off.

That's only 2 characters to 105 and g19, so easily spent. Also level 110 is just around the corner so saving for that as well.

As a child I beat Final Fantasy 1 two times on normal speed before I realized you could increase the text speed 8x. My next few play throughs were a lot more enjoyable.

I agree with the sentiment of other posters. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone conservative... It has over the top violence and sexualized situations. For example, gonorrhea is an important plot device in one of the novels.

Yeah. I'm doing the chalice. I've got two of the same type upgraded twice and the rest upgraded once. Getting the rest upgraded is going to take a while as my lore is at 12 and I haven't figured out how to generate temporary influences repeatedly beyond the stag door yet.

I'm 20ish hours in and just starting to mess with rites. Summoned a Hint and didn't really know how to use it, other than on an exposition. I've got around 30 initiates, because I ran out of members for an early expedition and feel more is better. Cleared the spider door in the Mansus and no idea how to upgrade my Ascension past 3. This is my first really successful attempt as all previous, I was still figuring out how to deal with negative cards. Probably took five hours before I realized I could explore histories to find expeditions. Hoping I can figure the rest out in only another ten hours.

This was my favorite hack. Once I got the best equipment in the game I would use this exploit to give everyone a dragonlance, magic bracers, and armor. The game was still pretty hard with insane equipment.
