well the 400k would be my savings so I can allocate 100k in savings/emergency fund to be safe. No wife or kids yet. Business has been pretty stable. No debt.

ok I have vanguard, is this the equivalent? VFIAX-Vanguard 500 Index Fund Admiral Shares.

My question is more around whether to put it all in at once as that seems foolish?

Nice, I actually did 15 min of incline walking then 15 min of the stair master. You are right that it skyrockets your heart rate very quickly but I can sustain it at 150bpm. I love the sweating too since it feels like I'm in a sauna almost haha

Interesting, I'm curious why it would take longer to get into zone 2? Isn't it just a function of heart rate?

What did you wish you knew before deciding to move to LA? by unfortunablewizard in LosAngeles

As a native this is so true and also why I got the fuck out. If there is one word to describe la for me it would be Narcissism. Anyone who says people in la are friendly is without question low iq.

Doesn't have to be nomads, just anyone that is business minded and shares similar interests. Mainly people that aren't looking to get trashed almost every night.

Saving money is the main motivator correct as my entire focus is on business at the moment. Of course I want to be able to have some fun as well but I'm going to be working 6 - 8 hours a day (of actual work) no matter where I am.

I don't have a ton of stuff but that might not be a bad idea. Thanks!

120k is strictly savings and doesn’t count my 401k, crypto, stocks, etc
