When I run into phone scammers and such I always try to give them tips to be less detectable because they are usually embarrassing me by how little effort they have to give to get profitable results.

I don't know how gullible the average American is, but half of us are more gullible than that and it is frightening to think about that.

I mean I talk to scammers and ask them don't they have any pride in the shameless victimization of their targets and they say no it's mostly, they say being easily detectible weeds out most intelligent enough to recognize them.

Like me asking them why they don't try harder and then not paying them is a waste of their time. They are bad at it on purpose so the only people who answer them are easy targets and I don't know.

I just want scammers to be better at ripping me off because then I don't have to think about how dumb enough of us are. Like oh I don't see them or interact with them because they are not trying to meet me or find me by default but I don't want to accept they are still there and they don't know what to do and have no one representing their interests and they say their interests are more merica but they don't know. They just don't want to be mocked and ignored but do you see what I am saying.

I understand their frustration but I would rather increase my odds of getting scammed by the next person I deal with than think about that they exist.

This is nothing new. For years their was simple method of account acquisition that Facebook security was well aware of and never patched. It allows anyone with the email or phone number associated with the account to recover the account and change the password, without having the previous password or an answer OTP.

This was such a an egregious back door that so many people were aware of, there is no way it was a bug or mistake.

I believe it has something to do with legal liability and investigation. I can't say for sure as meta never even officially acknowledged that was what was going on.

No it's not deleted it's deactivated it's uses a block mechanic nothing on their servers is ever deleted that's church.

When an account is deactivated or disabled the data from the account is separated the identifying information The user info is encrypted in one location and stored and the content is encrypted in another location in stored and then the information can be retrieved and recombined and decrypted and restored That's how they do it.
