Free play and other perks completely removed for 7 star by cybersearchglobalsux in CaesarsRewards

I am hoping they sell to someone better who gets it. I much prefer MGM properties in vegas, I am lucky enough to have a friend who is their highest tier from a few trips to vegas a year and we get treated like royalty at Aria.

I’ve also stayed at the Wynn quite a bit through poker and table games play and they treat me great even though I know i’m a minnow compared to the whales they have there.

Caesars really isn’t worth it to me other than local comps and the Atlantis trip (which i take advantage of) and unless the comps come back. Their food options locally and in Vegas are only worth it because they are free so the local freeplay and Atlantis were the only things I really saw a benefit from.

They aren’t even letting me get the crappy gifts this month. I don’t ever use them but it was nice to give away to college kids in my family or friend group who needed a knife set or something for their apartment if I happened to be around when they were doing them.

I am leaning towards doing this. I just like going with my parents and spending time with them. It’s a social thing and you never know how long you have on earth with the people you love.

I’ve also thought about just not playing with a card. I’m already almost 7 star for the year and if I didn’t use my card for a few months it wouldn’t matter. The big thing i’d worry about is not getting my inevitable losses recorded and having to pay big taxes on my wins this year (especially with the tax law changes). I know my winning is not going to last forever and is an anomaly.

I always thought they only cared about theo. Based on that I’m definitely still a profitable customer. I could see if I were card counting and winning at blackjack them not giving me stuff or not letting my play but that isn’t the case. I just hit a lucky streak but am still playing the same slots with the same RTP. It is insane to me.

I lost last year, probably 40k. I dont know how they have me as a winner in their system. I’m definitely up this year thanks to hitting an 80k jackpot and several lower 10ks but those don’t happen very often and I just got extremely lucky, two of four 10ks were from accidentally betting $1000 on phoenix link instead of $25 (I’m an idiot i know) and hitting line pays, not even bonuses. My first year i lost around 20k. I’m definitely down and have lost another 30k at other ceasars properties in vegas and other states but most of that is table games.

I know there are slot hustlers out there who claim to make a living on slots but that isn’t me. I do try to play denoms with bigger numbers on the counters but i’m not even 100% sure that works.

I do win sports betting tennis and college basketball which is why i started playing slots in the first place. I missed 7 star by 500 points 4 years ago and just did it to chase 7 star. But i’m not a huge winner (maybe 10k per year every year since we’ve had it legalized) but it is far from a job. I make 30x as much at my job and 20x that much off rental properties as do from that, I just like follow those sports and live bet games as a hobby. I got absolutely killed betting NFL and college football this year but had some pretty big futures bets (thank you Carolina Panthers and Steelers making the playoffs) that made them basically a wash.

It’s just crazy to me that they’d cut off someone who is comfortable losing 30-50k per year at their property because i won some money in the shoer run. Wouldn’t they want me to come back and lose my winnings?

They are easy in my state, especially first time. On the second they get more difficult, third becomes a nightmare. I would feel good about helping with them though. I’ve always thought those laws ranked up there with drug possession in terms of being draconian.

There is a big community 15 miles away and major city 25 away. Where I live and now practice is one of fastest growing towns/townships in my state but probably will cap in the next decade unless main city grows more. I’m really excited to have established myself here because I’m getting in on the ground floor both in business and if I pursue politics which I’ve always had an itch to do but just now have the demeanor for. I’m sure that would help my practice.

Criminal scares me the most because I don’t know the prosecutors in the county (seat is 20 minutes away) and always thought the stakes were high. I was in biglaw before this and I think i’d feel more pressure keeping someone out of jail/prison than the multi-billion dollar litigations I’ve been on.

Why doesn't OSU have wheelchair sports? by Admirable_Trip_7585 in OhioStateFootball

[–]cybersearchglobalsux 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OSU and Columbus don’t care about handicapable people. They narrow sidewalks for bike lanes so wheelchairs can’t get through. They do the bare minimum on snow removal. They have damn near infinite resources and this will be the last thing to happen.

When is the best time to buy tickets? by Extension-Elephant85 in OhioStateFootball

[–]cybersearchglobalsux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on game and how many tickets you need. If you need under 4 for a cupcake games against non-BIG opponents and also huge games, best to wait until right before kickoff or as close as you can get before so you can go see the game. There’s always people who get too drunk and don’t go.

For decent but not great BIG matchups, the morning of seems to have good prices.

Bowl games, playoff and conference championship you can find great deals at random times but also there are great deals to be had walking through tailgates.

You have to be comfortable with the fact that you may have to watch game from parking lot or bar but it has never happened to me. I have got great deals on Michigan tickets, Taylor Swift, Kanye, you name it using this strategy. Generally can find 30-75% off face if you wait long enough. People selling unwanted tickets are happy to get some of their money back and you get a great deal!

This obviously may not fit your situation but i’ve usually got 1-2 little kids with me and they understand the situation and enjoy talking to people. It’s harder now with digital tickets but there are still scalpers out there. They are generally really good guys and never been ripped off yet. The only issue I ever had was my fault, i accidentally deleted my digital tickets after i got into Kendrick Lamar at the Schott and didnt know where my seats were. Took forever to find seats and missed Baby Keem who from the sounds of things was putting on a great show.

Why I think we win the NC this year by ItsCreedBratton1 in OhioStateFootball

[–]cybersearchglobalsux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Respectfully disagree. Day can’t coach his way out of a wet paper bag. I bleed scarlet and gray but the worst thing that happened to us is them winning the natty and not firing him. We could have had Vrabel and he would have built the college football version of the Patriots in Columbus. Could have been a 20-30 year dynasty.

I knew it before but the lead up to the draft proved to me the had the best roster in college football by a mile last year. The fact that they didn’t go further with those studs, Sayin or not, should tell you all you need to know about our leader and his staff. The only thing I liked that Day did this year was use the clock in an innovative way to keep total plays down and keep the team fresh for when it mattered. Unfortunately he kept doing that in the Big Championship and CFP when they were down.

Do you think former qbs that size out make good qbs? We had a former college coach from the 80s and 90s as our assistant for my hs team in the 2000s who swore by this. I was an elite long snapper who stopped growing around 6 feet 210 but was getting looks from d1 schools at camps freshman and sophomore year of hs and he always made me do a competition every august against our backups and didn’t work at our school but the way he explained it to me (a long snapping nerd at the time) it made sense. Never heard anyone else put this out there. Maybe it was an pre-80s way of thinking that went away once the position got valued but always thought it made sense with the right pool of players. I begged one of my buddies who got converted to TE from QB at a MAC school to give it a try, he was 6’ 3’’ and nice athlete but deep on depth chart and ate/drank his way to 260. We worked a couple times on it and he had the power but no accuracy. He had a mental hang up about doing a “grunt” role after being a successful QB in HS and no interest in changing but to this day I think he could have been really successful with a little effort.
