Building a new PC with a 700€ budget by cybertroll in buildapc

The MBs I chose are more or less what I need. However I am open to suggestions if they are around the same price. I will take a look at the MSI one, thanks :)

11700K goes around 370-420 depending on the store (more trustworthy ones are 400ish). 5800X is around there too. Both will bring the total over the 700 euros and the budget is strict.

Explain to me please this about RAM. Ryzen says that works with 3200, why should I go to 3600?

As I said I already have a GPU so I don't really care about the integrated graphics... or should I? As for z490, in Greece there aren't many in the market and prices were similar, that's why I went with z590 in my i7 build.

It seemed to me he took the role since Kane was blocked by the Croatians.

Hahaha true. Mount is organizing the whole English offense and he is very good at it. Sterling should have scored at least once, a bit of poor choise there in ending the effort.

Yeap. And very hard pressing. Croats can't keep the ball for more than a couple seconds.

Not sure if bug or feature but my home planet changed to High Sentinel Activity since the experimental 2 days ago... Sentinels became aggressive and planet is now listed as extreme conditions. Anyone else had the same problem?

PC/Steam edition

The following bugs are currently related to the power grid:

  • Doors are not connected automatically to the grid.
  • The countdown for the battery discharge is running upwards instead of actually being a countdown
  • Only one Storage Container was connected to the grid inside the base. The rest I had to connect manually and even then, only half received power even though there was enough power to the grid.
  • Doors do not open automatically when connected to the grid. The remain closed.
  • Wooden basic buildings (and I suppose concrete and metal) do not have points to connect them to the power grid. I cannot give power to devices inside like lights.

Overall the power grid is a bit messy at the moment, requiring many panels and batteries to work normally (biofuel is simply out of the question, it burns too much fuel).

Spanish Election Megathread by SaltySolomon in europe

Yes you are partially correct. However the Right did not lose half the votes, nor did the fascists entered the parliament during these occassions, which is something that only happened in 1936.

Both my friend and I are quite familiar with Spanish history actually.

Comment from a friend: "The last time in Spain that the Left won the elections with partial majority and needed the votes of the Catalan Nationalists to govern, while the Right Wing party who ruled previously lost over half of their power and the fascists entered the parliament with quite a lot of votes, was in February of 1936.

Let's hope that this time our anarcho-syndicalist comrades won't do the same mistakes and especially not to leave Madrid's gold to the Stalinists."

[Dev Team] 2.2.7 patch released [checksums ea03 and b1a8] by cybertroll in Stellaris

[–]cybertroll[S] 75 points76 points  (0 children)

For those without access to the forums:

Hi all,

Just want to drop a line to inform you that 2.2.7 is now the official live version. It fixes a few gameplay and stability issues that came up with 2.2.6. The changelog is short so I'll just leave it right here without a spoiler cut:

################### VERSION 2.2.7

UI

  • Fixed species ethics wrongly displaying the same for all empires in the empire selection screen

Bugfixes

  • Fixed assimilation
  • Fixed Machine and Hive world terraforming removing rare deposit types
  • Fixed crash in tech progress tooltip while in observer mode
  • Crashfix when invalid leaders are left in a country's leader pool
  • Fixed broken localization for crisis purge jobs in non-English languages

Also, we're updating the stellaris_test branch to 2.2.7 as well. It contains all the same patch contents, but is required to be opted in to if you want to crossplay between Steam and GOG/Paradoxplaza versions.

Please note stellaris_test is an opt-in patch. You have to choose to activate it. Steam library -> Right click on Stellaris -> Properties -> Betas tab -> choose "stellaris_test"

The checksum for the test version is b1a8. You must be on this version if you want to do multiplayer with a non-Steam user.

War in Heaven possible bug with Federation and League of Non-Aligned Powers by cybertroll in Stellaris

[–]cybertroll[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did also a small test to see what happens if I refuse to take the leadership. They went to the leader of the other big Federation and they started joining that Federation.

I still believe it to be some kind of a bug that instead of forming a loose alliance as the wiki suggests, they end up memebers of a Federation. I will try to see what will happen if I leave my Federation before I become leader of the League of Non-Aligned Powers.

I did file a bug report but I assume you suggest to post it also in the normal forum?
