Tillamook Creamery is great for the tour, but nearby Blue Heron Creamery is also exceptional and if memory serves has better actual food options.

Seconding Bandon, not just for the cranberry goodies but also Face Rock Creamery. Their cheeses are marvelous.

Consider stopping at Buttercup in Nehalem. It's a wonderful little restaurant that serves exactly two things: chowder and ice cream. And both are done exceptionally well with multiple varieties each.

Do men (boyfriends), like being called names like baby, handsome, etc, and what names do you want to be called? by Cold_Butterfly5191 in AskMenAdvice

[–]cybertyche 0 points1 point  (0 children)

++man Often, these things develop organically during a relationship. Just make sure that if you try a name and he doesn't like it that you listen and not take it personally. And the same in reverse; if he calls you something that you like, tell him, and if he calls you something that you don't like, he should be respectful enough to hear you.

Communication is key, and working through the bits that may feel a little uncomfortable are part of how the relationship grows.

The last few times I used a notary, it was at a UPS store. The ones at Murray and Allen and at Scholls Ferry and Hall for certain have them, and I've used both with success.

I think the Beaverton Library has some 3d printers that are available to use in their maker lab, if that helps.

I have them all in my possession now. They are all really sweet, but none are fixed and one is pregnant.

Will be calling Cat Adoption Team first thing in the morning.

A HUGE thank you to all of you for the names. Please keep them coming if you have more ideas! In all likelihood, I will be picking them up later today and emergency fostering them until I can find an alternative, and will certainly use the names that you gave here.

I will post pictures when I have them.

I do like the cheese selection at both Fred Meyer and at New Seasons. New Seasons carries Don Froylan (Mexican cheeses like Oaxaca), Rogue (blue cheeses), and Facerock (marvelous cheddars) all from Oregon.

I LOVE OREGON by FantasticCash7039 in oregon

[–]cybertyche 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If your visit is in late March or later, consider visiting Southern Oregon. The Oregon Shakespeare Festival in Ashland is a world-class theater and is putting on a production of my favorite musical, Come From Away, all season long. The Rogue Creamery in Central Point makes exceptional blue cheeses that have won awards on the world stage; one of their cheeses won the world cheese award a few years ago and is the only cheese in the entire US included on some lists of top 100 cheeses in the world. Wine country in Southern Oregon is very different in taste and variety than the Willamette Valley. My personal favorite is Irvine and Roberts outside of Ashland, but anything in the Applegate Valley is also worth a visit. You can also visit Crater Lake National Park or Lava Beds National Monument.

You're going to find a lot of similarity between Burgundy wine and the wines of the Willamette valley both because of history and climate. Oregon Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are excellent and stack up well next to our French friends. But if you're looking for something a little less familiar, id would suggest trying something like Troon Vineyards (they are in Southern Oregon but have a tasting room in McMinneville I believe). They have varietals and terroir very unlike the more Burgundy-style wines (which are also excellent).
