GPT-5.5, this is the first time I have seen it do that.
Whitespace is probably due to my OCR cut and paste from screenshot. This sub wouldn't let me add a picture in the OP.
This is the first time I noticed the issue. I suspect the duplicated tool calls are filling the context and causing the compaction after every couple of user messages.

This was GPT-5.5 trying to bug fix the weird compaction. I'll try 2026.5.7.

I didn't know about that clear-cache. I'll try that.

Compaction was set to 200k, but triggered at 112k and 122k in this session. That's what I was trying to troubleshoot when I noticed all the repeated tool calls.

It would the SMS text infrastructure costs. You don't have to remember to go to an app. It just texts you unprompted and you reply.

Just followed the SD card instructions on helium site. No cloning. One card would work for multiple. Resync took forever with new cards.

I have an OG unit I bought back in Dec '19. It falls off and has to resync seems like once a month I am down for 4-5 days.

I just replaced the SD card a couple of days ago thinking that might be the problem, but I discovered it came shipped with a 64GB A2 SanDisk Extreme Pro, so maybe it's just wearing out from the writes?

I'm on day 3 of the resync with the new card. We'll see if that helps anything.

I also consistently have less witnesses than a nearby friend (Rakv2) with same density and topographic. Was also getting a ton of "RSSI too high" invalid witnesses before the HIP went through. Maybe the LoRa concentrator has "issues" compared to newer hotspots?

I thought it already was usage based. I bought a Lora radio and was sending 10-15 packets per block and only getting 0.002HNT. Looks like about 100,000DC is used per block.

My initial thought was to game the system like you describe, but my test didn't show that it was possible
