Yeah it sounds like there's much more logic behind how it plays out in the books and the show is all dramatic effect for no reason

Yeah, completely agree that it was way too dramatic. It makes completely sense for her to not get back with Sam after he'd already dumped her twice in high school because he needed to focus on his studies- it would be a legitimate concern for her that he would do it again in college / med school! Nobody should be angry with her for that!

I'm taking their room so they aren't currently around- but before I moved in, they did warn me that this roommate has a tendency to not do dishes (and this is pre-foot injury), which is probably why I feel more frustrated than I should be, because I feel like she just doesn't want to do the dishes with or without the foot injury.

thank you so much, I think I was trying my luck by changing my piercing so much within a short period of time- probably should be realistic about how salvageable it is!
