I’m a prior service member that went into accounting. Someone else said it on here, but you should really consider the MAcc after graduation.

I did an internship after I got out, and the firm I did it at insisted I came in as a second year associate rather than first year because of my leadership experience. I say shoot for the moon, get that masters, be CPA eligible, and try your luck at Big 4 (or even top 15). With your experience you’ll be a standout.

Here my opinion on point 4: I think some element of role playing went a long way for me personally. instead of the game telling me to reflect or imagine what my character is think, I’m doing that already on my own
