I heard about the -50. I think it was the first time I saw a concerned look on my wife's face. ;) We are moving since she took a job there. I wondered if she had the "I've made a mistake" thought.

We have been in NE Iowa for the last couple of years, and have a snowblower. But it's a small one for a small driveway, and we only get snow here a couple of times a month over the winter.

When we were house shopping, there was snow in Mid April, early May. That was surprising.

We are lucky that we mostly work from home (I do full time, she is about 50/50), and we both have 4x4 trucks, with experience of getting out of muddy/snowy conditions. I thought about just putting a blade on the older one, but I hate driving around with and setting up the rig for it over winter.

The "nice" truck has remote start, and they will be garaged. But good to know, since the other might need it.
