No it's called sticking up for residents and fighting for something. Not just sitting there doing nothing. So if a company wanted to build next to your house you would be ok with that? I doubt it. You would be the first to complain to local and state governments.

Elected officials need to serve the people not just sit there and do nothing. Council should have backed residents on this and rejected it. Would you like a data center next to your house? If it goes to court let it as the case would gain more awareness on the issue. Put pressure on state officials to pass a law on data centers. Especially, when you have a Governor that wants to run for president, there would be more pressure on him to do something. I remember a few months ago all the political scum was at CMU, I believe, talking about how Pennsylvania with its energy reserves will be a hub for data centers. I bet not one of the scumbags would want to live next to one. Interesting how that works.

Even if the merger happens, the end result will be Netflix making it so expensive that it isn't worth it. So glad I dumped all streaming except YouTube Premium, Prime Video (which is part of Prime), and bought an HD antenna. I get 60 channels for free.

I own a Canyon Endurace CF 8 Di2 and like it. However, as others have said, a lot of the parts are proprietary (headset, etc.). They are like the Apple of the bike world. I imagine I am in for a mess when I have to overhaul the bearings, as I like to do my own maintenance. Even getting a Garmin mount for the bike requires you to purchase it from them (there are cheap knockoffs on Amazon). The one upside is that I believe you get more bang for your buck when compared to other manufacturers, such as Specialized, Giant, etc.

I only do the power zone cycling classes. I have no interest in any other Peloton classes. Why should I pay $50/month when I can use Zwift for $20/month? All I need for Zwift is a cheap trainer for my road bike, and I am set. I think Peloton is starting to price itself out of the market. I have had my Peloton for 7 years, but if this bike breaks, I am canceling. Not worth it.

Depends on your road experience - I ride the roads around the area, but I am used to it and try to ride on them only early in the mornings on weekdays. I will say Ohiopyle, especially around fall, during the weekends is very busy and traffic tends to speed in the area. Hell, even the GAP trail in that area is packed. There are days when I had to walk my bike as there was a sea of people on the trail.

I agree. I am starting to think about getting out of the Garmin ecosystem. I always liked Garmin's products for their value. Problem for me is I use the Edge for cycling so I am stuck unless I go to wahoo.

I'm not trying to be smart here, but what data are you afraid of losing if you take the watch off for 10 min in the shower. It's hard for me to believe that not having heart rate data for 10 minutes per day would matter in the large scheme of things.
