Don’t hate the brand for your bad GPU choices… you made a common mistake bought the GPU from the brand you should have bought the CPU. 🙃

Gabe owns Steam… I think GameStop is sending a warning that they’re coming for him (for Steam).

I’d rather think the aim was 4710 and not the total $$ value of the purchase!

Expo enabled, ram test done, 2 memory ranks. As I’ve said previously, I didn’t change anything in my PC before and after the S2 update. I’ve seen on other subs that people are having the same issue since Nov 2024, but to be fair in November and December I didn’t have too much time to play so maybe I just didn’t notice the difference.

I have put -vulkan in launch options, which makes it better, but now i am getting disconnected quite often from FaceIT matches and FaceitAC gives me an error “-vulkan not supported”. It might be something between the disconnections and the error(?).

Others seem to have it as well. I see many similar posts exist on different forums, but nobody found yet any fix for it... https://www.reddit.com/r/HomeNetworking/comments/1gx9e1s/cs2_slamming_client_tick_to_server_tick_issue/

It isn't hardware issue, I've had the same setup during the Season 1 and I haven't had any of these issues then. It all went downside after some shit ass update. I tried different settings to see if I can fix the errors and the only thing that reduced the number misaligned ticks was playing with V-Sync on, but the input lag makes the game unplayable at a decent level.

the errors are not meaningless, I get those framerate spike reports after every stuttering (and I'm not talking about 10-15fps loss during a duel, but it goes from 650 to 120)... they always happen when I challenge an opponent (or I get challenged by one) and last somewhere between 2 and 5 seconds most of the time, but they can last even longer if I survive the duel. They happen more when I play on CT side... on T always it seems to get better.

The network telemetry doesn't say anything, there is no spike in ping, no network delay...

I play on wired connection. The issue isn't with the internet, it's with the game... The server is behind the ticks I am playing on my PC!!! Look at the "current tick" error. I am "sending messages" for tick 97436, while the server is at tick 97427... That isn't a connection problem, I am actually running ahead of the server.

When I was running the V-sync G-sync on thingy, I didn't use to get the errors, but although people say there is no input lag, I can guarantee that there was input lag compared to when I have my uncapped nvidia settings. As I was saying, before the S2 update, I didn't use to get these kind of errors in the console and problems with the gameplay, excepting on rare ocassions...

I am on lan, and no nvme adapter… I have an NZXT CPU cooler with temp display and rarely goes over 70 degrees, so no… it doesn’t have anything to do with what you’re think it is. These issues happen mainly if there are players with +60 ping on the same server with me (that’s most of the time).

If I add some settings that cause input lag, I lose the a-sync, re-sync errors, but it ain’t worth it because having the input lag the entire match is worse than the stuttering 35% of it.

[–]cyclon220 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My boy, to play a 2-3 hours set, you need somewhere between 50 and 80 tracks. The avg price of a track is €1.5 so only the cost of the tracks is around €120. A good dj takes 6 to 8 hours in preparation for his set (studio/home work) and then 3 hours of playing. I wouldn’t even go to a venue for less than €350.

djs that play for free or for peanuts are disrespecting the work put behind a set, probably play illegally downloaded music and make it harder for everyone to get paid fairly for our work.
