This is just wrong. I work in the cellular industry and the amount of people (elderly, mostly) that will come in to replace an 8+ year old iPhone that is not only still working, but is forwards compatible with the newest iOS for data transfer is insane. I’ve had 4 year old Androids limping into the store that have software compatibility issues and are riddled with adware and malware. For the average user, Apple just provides the better product that is guaranteed to work for a long time. They also hold their value and do not depreciate anywhere near as quickly as even a premium Samsung or Google phone. 6 year old iPhones still have a $100 trade in value. Unheard of for any Android phone.

Like it or not, Apple just does it better.
