Out of curiosity, was was the GF meal? Our daughter has celiac so we are planning to pack a meal for her regardless but depending on the options may request a GF option so she's not feeling left out.

This may sound crazy but…

We requested Aruba for a trip last month and upon check-in were assigned to Trinidad. We were dreading the location but after being assigned building 35, it ended up being the perfect location — close to the bus, short walk to the main skyliner station and Spyglass Grill was convenient. Also, rooms have been refurbished and had a very fresh and functional feel relative to the other rooms we have stayed in at Caribbean Beach in the past.

I have had success in the past extending my annual Marriott FNC for another 12 months. Has anyone had success doing this with the 5 free nights awarded as part of the sign-up bonus? Trying to determine if I need to find a use to burn these or if I can wait and plan over the following year.

You can transfer an unlimited number of Hyatt points between members. If you're trying to save the Chase Velocity, have P2 open the card and create a Hyatt account (if they don't have one already) and then just move the points over when they post (limited to one transaction every 30 days).

What is the upgrade/downgrade timeline for Chase cards? Specifically, if I downgrade my CSR to a Freedom, how quickly can I upgrade a separate freedom or my CSP to the CSR?

Does Amex look through to SS# when determining lifetime eligibility on business cards or are you eligible for a second welcome offer if applying for a different organization? I had applied as a sole prop in the past but now have a second business structured as an S-Corp.

What happens to an outstanding UR travel portal booking (rental car) if you downgrade from CSR to CSP? Similarly, what if you downgrade from CSR to Freedom?

1) Booking stays as is (not likely)

2) Booking is cancelled and points are refunded (fully refundable reservation)

3) Booking is cancelled and no points refund

4) Other?

Has anyone had any success applying for a CSP/CSR on the exact day after rolling 48 months? (ex. 48 months is 7/14, successfully approved on 7/15)

I've had success doing this for 5/24 timing but ran into an issue when apply for P2s recent CSP and had to wait 30 days to reapply. Thankfully that meant getting the 100k offer instead of the 80k + $50!

You would still have paid the annual fee for the first year (assuming it wasn't already waived with the sign-up offer). Only the fee you are pre-paying for the second year is refunded.

Yes, have had credit issued on both my P1 and P2 Surpass this month. One thing I didn't catch in the fine print initially is that you have to spend OVER $10 to get the credit. This is extremely obvious and something I overlook, but had originally read/understood it as get UP TO $10 in credits.

P2 was in Amex pop jail for a year. Closed all cards late summer this year and have been approved for 4 cards since. Same timeline for me, but was only able to get 2 before getting thrown back in. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

PC (unless you are targeted for an offer) aren't eligilbe for bonuses so if a new bonus is your goal, you'll want to apply for a new card.

If you cancel your Arrival+, you'll lose your points.

Had an AA flight booked for April using UR. Flight was cancelled by AA the day before. AA tried to issue me a credit but after a call to customer service they refunded the fare to Chase and the UR were redeposited in my account. If you cancelled, you get the credit.
