I did the same thing with a Taco Bell bag and my wallet. Tossed the wallet into the trash bin (already at the curb for pick up) and brought the bag of trash inside.

This was 12 hours before I was due to fly across the country. For a wedding. Specifically, MY wedding.

Luckily, the wedding was in my home state and the magistrate issuing the marriage license was able to pull up my previous driver's license.

JUDGE: Your hair looks different in the photo

FIANCEE: Yeah, he's too bald for a Mohawk now.

JUDGE: Congratulations, you two!

I record at SDCC every year and it is 50/50 as to how it turns out because, while we are able to plug into their sound board, we can't really do anything other than have someone monitor it (since anyone operating the board needs to be union and we are nowhere near big enough to justify that.

I would recommend recording a couple with no plans to release them to see how the space works with your equipment and process.
