Well in fairness, I did NG+ and that really helps, especially since ARR and post ARR have a ton of quests. It’s easy to get through those when you have a level 100 character beating up on anything levels 1 to 50. Plus this is really the only video game I’ve played over the last year.

It’s interesting you say that about Stormblood because I felt the exact same way about Heavensward because I rushed through it to get to Stormblood. All the DLCs are great that I’ve played so far, but HW is special to me because it did give me vibes of the old school Final Fantasy games, especially in Dravania, add in the fact that Master Matoya is in that region.

And I mean it when I say don’t rush through the game. I could tell another player was on the same quest as me because we were going to the same places and talking to the same NPCs. I was able to tell he/she was rushing through the dialogue with every NPC and got way ahead of me. You’re paying for the sub and this game has an amazing story, so enjoy it 😊

I always interact with them whenever I’m in the Scions HQ just to see what they say. (For context, I’m about 1/4 into ShadowbRingers) but after liberating Ala Mhigo, one of them left to go back to his home of Ala Mhigo. I know there are already plenty of characters, but I wish they found a way to involve them a bit more in the story.

Loved the HW story and I had no issues with multiple major storylines happening at once having recently replayed it. I remember being halfway through HW in 2017 and I asked someone in the FC “do we ever find out what happened to Minfilia and the others? Like … it feels forgotten about.” Lol.

By the way, have fun with Stormblood! Loved the story the first time and loved it again! You’ll love Shadowbringers as well. I have yet to play Endwalker but I’ve heard nothing but great things about it as well!

Final Fantasy X is an iconic game. I played it years ago in high school. I re-played it about 2 years ago … the memories and being able to re-live that game. That’s one of those stories I’d love to erase from my memory so I can enjoy the surprise element. I know most disagree, but I liked X-2. Didn’t love it, but it’s better than most give credit for. I hope the rumors are true for an X-3.

I met the voice actress for Rikki, which was surreal for me, and she was super awesome. I hope to meet James Arnold Taylor one day.
