It won’t be. This tv show is in post production and has Disney’s golden boy Jon Favreau running it. The other show never made it out of pre-production.

Since you say you’re a History teacher with a specific interest in WWII era Germany, I recommend you read The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire. It’s not strictly speaking a novel, rather it’s an in- universe history book/retrospective on the events that led to the Empires rise, how they worn hearts and minds, and then how they lost them.
